Hubby and I went for a ride up to the Golden Mountain and took the long way home on Highway 93 between Boulder and Denver because of rush-hour traffic on Highway 25. While driving, I had the GPS turned on for nearby geocaches.
We decided to find one called Mondo's Red Rocks expecting to see it near the usual formidable red rock formation filling the skyline. As got closer, we didn't see any red rocks - big or little. We had trouble following the GPS because it kept losing the signal. But, once on a trail, we don't give up.

We always enjoy the wind turbines, but today we were looking for a geocache. |
The cold, wet, wind was howling around us as we got out of the car to follow the signal down an embankment towards a field. Click on the photo for a close up of the turbine wind farm in the distance. Yep, that's our car way up there.

The Red Rock Geocache is around here someplace! |
GPS says we're close to the cache, but not quite there. Do we have to climb over the fence?

Ha ha ha. Look down Linda! |
|
Don't step on it!

Success!!! Hurry up and sign the log. I'm COLD. |
Take Care on the Journey,
~Linda
